Reservations and payments
A deposit of 25% of tour price is required to solidify reservations.  The balance of trip cost is required 60 days prior departure date. By paying a deposit or full payment you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Reservations made within 60 days of departure required immediate full payment by credit card. A 3% processing fee will be added.


Cancellations before departure:
Cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing by Hispaniola Escorted Tours. The following will be charged per person:
•    60 days or more before departure: $125.00
•    59 to 45 days before departure: $200.00
•    44 to 36 days before departure: $250.00
•    35 to 21 days before departure: 50% of total charges
•    20 to 8 days before departure: 80% of total charges
•    7 days or less before departure:  100% of total charges

Returned checks: $25.00 fee.

Airline Tickets

Once issued, tickets are non changeable and non refundable. International airline tickets are either non-refundable or have substantial change/cancellation penalties. Please check that the names you want to appear on the tickets coincide with the names on your passports. Please check your reservation carefully, Hispaniola Escorted Tours & Travel will not be responsible for tickets issued with incorrect names.

Package does not include
:
Gratuities and services other than the ones specified, meals not mentioned in the itinerary, drinks, airport taxes, travel insurance and entrance to museums, unless specified.

Travel protection insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive accident, medical, baggage and trip cancellation insurance when you reserve your space. Please be advised that we cannot be responsible for any financial disappointment caused by reasons beyond our control, especially if no trip insurance was purchased.

Substitutions:
We reserve the right, in our discretion, to substitute carrier, aircraft, chapter flight for scheduled flight, entertainment, host, entertainers, hotels, restaurants, party & banquet locations, or other accommodations. We also reserve the right, for good faith reasons, to cancel any scheduled tour. In such an event, we cannot take responsibility if passenger chose to purchase non-refundable airfare.

Brochure/web site printing disclaimer
The tour operator is not responsible for typographical or printing errors.

Tour Documents
Final documents are mailed, provided we have full payment and signed contract, two weeks prior to departure date.

Special Notes
Rates are quoted in U.S dollars and are subject to change. U.S citizens traveling out of the United States are required to have a valid passport with an expiration date of at least two months from date of return. Minors must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.

Tourist Tax
Tourists to the Dominican Republic are required to purchase a $10 Tourist Card, due upon arrival at the Santo Domingo Airport.
